The palm shells are first crushed into smaller pieces (less than 20mm pieces) and then sent through a drying process when the moisture content exceeds 20%. Once the furnace reaches a specific temperature, the crushed palm kernel shells will produce a combustible gas, which is then used for providing heat to the furnace. From here the combustible gas is purified further through a spray-dedusting system which also removes harmful components, which ensures that the entire process matches up the to EU emission standards. Applications Of Palm Kernel Shell Charcoal Making Machine Products

The coal content produced from carbonizing palm shells is around 90%. Due to its high-caloric value and environmental protection, this charcoal can be used as a safe fuel for BBQs, and as a direct fuel in commercial and industrial settings such as steel-melting industries. The bio-gas is also used in the form of fuel that provides heat to the furnace, which helps to save energy.
